Let’s explore the awesome nature and amazing views – the mountains, the lake and the sea in an off-road day tour from Athens. Our destination is the legendary beach of Marathon, with points of interest along the route, including Marathon lake and Marathon village. Only few places in the world are as known as Marathon – a place where Athenians gained the victory over the Persians in 490 BCE (Battle of Marathon). We travel a scenic off-road past Marathon Lake, pass traditional village and reach the Mediterranean Sea. We enjoy a stop at the beach to dip in the water, enjoy refreshments and/or lunch in on one of the seafood taverns. The tour is accompanied by expert Hebrew-speaking guide (escort jeep). The type of jeep we travel in tours is Suzuki Vitara or similar.
